INTERNATIONAL ILINDEN SAILING REGATTA, Ohrid 2011 / Review & Results

DAY o1
(31 July)
This morning at 11:00 we had the opening ceremony of the 43 annual International Ilinden Sailing Regatta, Ohrid 2011. The organisators of this regatta - the two clubs: "BOFOR" and "STRMEC" are very pleased of the participation of the many guest clubs that came to this regatta. By noon all the sail boats were in the Lake and at 12:30 we had the first start. The wind that was blowing today was Strmec (west wind - that comes from the adriatic sea), with small changes of direction. We had two rides today. And we finished by 16:00.
The clubs participating to this regatta are: from Serbia sc ZEMUN, sc "PALIC" -Palic, sc ZORAN RADOSAVLJEVIC" , Nish, Albania : YCA and Macedonia: sc " BOFOR" sc "STRMEC" from Ohrid, sc" SNEGAR" and sc "SIRMA" from Struga.

DAY o2
(1 August)
The wind conditions today as yesterday were great. We did four rides and all the sailors were more than satisfied with today's sailing.

DAY o3 
(2 August)
The last day of the regatta. Although we thought that today we'll be having only one ride just for finishing the wind today was even better then yesterday. We had the greatest sailing moments today of all tree days.
